We had Pete Reid from Gamma come home to Scotland to brew this beer in celebration of our joint love of classic Scottish lager.
We used a decent amount of raw landrace wheat grown in Fife along with some Herkules hops from a particularly aromatic batch to make this absolute belter.

440ml can. Clear golden with a frothy white head. Aroma of bready, grainy malts, mildly vegetal. Taste of bready malts, grains, mildly grassy/herbal and subtle lemon hop notes, assertive bitter finish. Medium bodied. Great lager.

Can direct from Newbarns wedshoppe. It pours crystal clear pale yellow - gold with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is toasty grains, green, grassy, herbal, green veg, cereal, grain husks, toasty spice, cracker and bread. The taste is firmly dry, bitter, quite crisp, green, grassy, herbal, touch of green veg, toasty grains, cracker and cereal bar with a drying finish. Average body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Quenching and moreish.
