Drawing on Robin's tenure at Beak Brewery, we've brewed a Scot's twist on a NZ Hazy pale. Made with Bere Barley from the Borders, and raw Landrace wheat from Fife, hopped heavily with Motueka from Sunrise Valley.

Taste is slightly sweet, tropical fruits and citrus, peach, orange, grapefruit and lime, passionfruit, citrus peel, low bitterness. Light-medium bodied. Old school leaning haze, nice one.

Can direct my Newbarns. It pours hazy golden - blonde with a thick white head. The aroma is fresh, bright, rich tropical fruits, fruit salad sweets, mango, apricot, peach, passion fruit coulis, pic n mix, touch of aniseed and sponge cake. The taste is smooth, juicy, bright, smooth, ripe stone fruits, apricot.jam, peach, passion fruit, mango, orange creamsicle, floury bread, slightly chalky, sponge cake, touch green, nip of alcohol and pic n mix with a smooth, fruity finish. Medium and moderate carbonation. Bright and fruity. Very nice overall, maybe a touch sweeter than I normally like. Fun stuff nonetheless.
