Tap at Zapfanstalt - what a score! Not often one gets to add a German brewery to the site - and one you can only get at the local EDEKA in Wilsdruff, east of Dresden, the irregular open house events at the brewery and here and there at this pub. And immediately their special imperial stout, hah! Anyway. Veeery dark brown body, blackish, creamy beige head. Creamy, somewhat buttery caramelly malty aroma, nutty, some dried fruit. Smooth, creamy, caramelly taste - dried fruit, coffee, bit soapy and buttery. Dunno, not a world beater, but a decent stout, and really glad I ticked it!
