Bottle, best by 11/2015. Looks a little like a cloudy heffe. Smells like old high gravity lager. Taste is big freakin rude dull hops kick in the face. No freshness in this fer sure. Difficult and medicinal, I swear it has many of those old ice lager malt likker attributes. Cannot enjoy. If it wasn’t for the buzz catching effects, I may give up on this one. A big happy BS dull pine turpentine palate wrecker. wew.

Bottle in the hotel lobby, RBWG ’15, night 2 - 20/02/15. I might have dragged this one down from Asheville? Hazed orange amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is tangerine, bitter orange, straw, melon. Taste comprises orange pith, straw, light bread, melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness. A pretty basic IPA but drinkable enough.

Bottle shared late night during RBWG 2015. Pours cloudy gold with a creamy white head. The nose has some ripening citrus fruits, pale bread. Medium sweet flavor with dusty pale malts, rindy citrus, slight grains. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Simple citrus and dry, pale bread on the finish. Decent.

Location: 12 oz bottle at CLT (Uptown in Terminal A), 11/25/14

Aroma: The aroma has some okay hop notes, caramel, pine, and a little fruit
Appearance: The beer pours into the glass an orange-amber color with a smallish head
Flavor: The flavor is along the same lines, dull hops and some caramel malts
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has an okay but not great feel, and a lightly dry finish
Overall Impression: I like the label the best of any part of this beer. It just isn't very good. Everytime I'm in this terminal and they have only bottles of this instead of cans of Hop, Drop, and Roll (like they have in other terminals throughout the rest of CLT) it makes me sad.

Rich copper coloured body with a bit of a honey and light bronze glow and a thin, single centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of bright grassy and citrus hops with hints of pine and alcohol, a little caramel and malt. Medium-bodied; Grassy and very deep herbal hops with a thin-body, some malt which adds depth and a pungent bitterness from the yeast that has quite a kick on the end. Aftertaste shows bitterness, some pungent hops and a little sweetness of caramel at the end. Overall, a decent IPA, but showing too much bitterness and not enough depth and complexity to be worthwhile, especially since so many good IPAs exist all around the country. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in Cary, North Carolina on 02-August-2014 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Washington on 25-October-2014.

bottle. So-So IPA - but enjoyable. Nothing really stood out - very conservative IPA, which can be good
