West Coast Double IPA

We brewed a delightfully drinkable double dry hopped double IPA for our second birthday. It's probably the most hops we've ever put in a beer, for maximum goodness!

473 ml can. Pours a bright amber with moderate foamy head. Aromas of soft pine, grapefruit and doughy malts. Flavors follow same with additional resin and spice with emphasis on malts. Long bitter finish. Old School. Very nice.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg Jan 06, 2026). Clear amber gold with white head. Soft pine, feint dankness, light chewy malt base, balanced, but almost a touch muted on all fronts. Still quite nice, but if I'm being picky, the flavours don't shine quite as bright as I think they could.

Gold with a slight haze, thick head. Clean, light ackberry, some pine, sweet pale malt, a bit of citrus in the finish, along with light alcohol. Good stuff.

On tap at Threefold. Pours clear gold with a white head. Bright bitter pine and sticky resins on the nose. Flavour has bitter pine and loads of sticky resins, supported by a chewy malt backbone. Huge bitter hop profile. Excellent IPA.

On tap at Threefold, pours a clear par golden with a small white head. Aroma has big resinous hops, some oily pine, and sweet biscuity malt to back. Flavour is bright, with lots of bold resinous hops, some pine, and just enough sweetness from the malt backbone. Old school with all that resinous and piney hops, and beautifully balanced. Excellent.
