Quite nice, even though the barrel is a little overdone. Poured amber with decent head and lacing. Lots of wine and some citrus. A hint of florals. Tap at meridian pint.

On tap at the brewpub, pours a murky, deep orange with some thin, white head. Nose has some tart grapefruit meat, white grape, soured papaya, some greens, some rotting fruit. Flavor is mildly fruity, guava, papaya, tart grapefruit, herbs, some fruit tea, some orange, pine. Full bodied, tart, tannic finish. Hints of buttery oak too.

4 oz draft at Mad Fox. Poured a hazy golden color with a small off-white head. Aroma was lots of woody, vinous notes. Flavor had a light tartness of light fruit, red wine, floral notes. Interesting, though I kind of like regular funk a little more.
