Can. Another one of those average American Pale Ales. Everything about this one is just an average beer.

Can: Tinny tea, dried leaves, cardboard aroma. Cloudy orange, thick yellow head, good lace. Tea, dried leaves, slight DMS. Medium body, soft carbonation. Not pristine, probably well past its prime.

Tap at taproom, NOLA. Slightly hazy orange-amber color, small white head. Light aroma has riped tropical fruits and caramel. Light-bodied. Flavor is similar ... riped fruits and some sweetness. Feels watery.

Can on a streetcar in NOLA. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. Nice piney notes, some pale bread, mild orange rind, moderate sweetness. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with light resin, more pine, some rindy citrus. Good and drinkable APA.

On tap at a restaurant. Aroma is that of a classic pale ale. Moderate malt notes with cracker and some caramel. Moderate hop notes with resin, pine and grapefruit. Pours a hazy, copper color with a medium sized, moderately thick light tan head that recedes to a thin film that lingers. Medium lacing and no legs. Flavor has a medium light sweetness with a dry finish. Medium to medium high bitterness. Some light cracker malt notes with a bit more caramel and hints of toasted bread. Moderate hop notes with grapefruit and pine. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, an alright pale ale but nothing special. It reminds me a lot of the older style of pale ale similar to Sierra Nevada.
