What a cracking NEIPA this is! Brewed with our friends from Datum Attitude, we've made the incredible Egger's Special (a variant of Riwaka) the star of the show in this juicy IPA and backed it up with a big slurp of Citra.

Missed the tasting again solo can. A mild to medium haze on this yellowish gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, a light creamy sweetness. Cooling pine into typically enigmatic Eggers hop fruits, touches of tropical things, mild stone fruits and a touch of background citrus, plus those Eggers flavours that are hard to put a name to. A fairly light finish. Eggers amusement here, could be a little punchier overall.

Keg at CBJ. Hazy-opaque gold. Thin foamy white head l. Aroma has herbs and citrus over stone fruit. Flavourwise it's fruity- sweet with a sour edge. Underlying porridge. Peripheral herbs. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Nice.

Hits the haze squarely. Decent tropical fruit character, mango, tangerine, low bitterness. A bit of bready pale malts. Not bad.

Keg at Craft Beer Junction, 04/03/2026.
Murky orange topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is grass, pine needle, green berry tinged straw, melon.
Taste comprises grass, punchy tropicana, pine nip, stone fruit, lychee.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juicy come resinous hop bitterness with an NZ lilt.
Tidy stuff.
