Have you heard of the local legend of a guy who lives out in the bush on his own? Psycho Sam is a NZ IPA brewed with our mates from Ten Tun and Topsham breweries. Hopped with Riwaka, NZH-106 and Nelson Sauvin, you can just call it Sam.

Keg at CBJ. Near opaque orange gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Somewhat thin bodied pale malts, a reasonable sweetness. Cooling pine. Light bright citrus, orange and a little mandarin. Light and semi dry finish. Not bad.

On tap at The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Mango,tangerine, peach, pineapple & apricot aromas. Taste is grapefruit, lime, mango, yellow melon, peach, apricot, a little pineapple coming through in the back end. Aftertaste is packed with rich bittersweet fruits. Mouthwatering & very tasty indeed.

Keg at Craft Beer Junction. Pale hazy pineapple yellow. Thin foamy white head. Aroma is funky and herbal with some citrus. Flavourwise it has initial citrus with a hint of sweetness followed by herbal and slightly resinous bitterness. Light-medium bodied. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish.

Hazed orange topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is bitter orange, pine needle, light dank nip, grapefruit.
Taste comprises stone fruit, papaya, ripe melon, mandarin, punchy tropicana.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close spliced with light danko hop bitterness.
Tidy pale.
