32oz growler I picked up at Whole Foods Falls Church. Pours a hazy dark gold with some fluffy, lacing, white head. Nose is solid, piney, mild soap, bitter, lightly earthy, a little woody, some malt, a little yeast too. Flavor follows along, very piney, quite woody too, some soap, some mild rosemary, some earthy notes, orange too. Big, bitter, soapy finish.

Bottle. Simply put, I enjoy this a lot more than the last few years of XIPA. It has a much cleaner and lighter malt presence and a crisper and more citrus hops presence. More like the very old version of XIPA than the recent ones.

Bottle during RBSG 2014 at Schlafly Bottleworks brunch. Clear golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of pine, floral notes, citrus. Tastes of pine, floral notes, citrus, caramel, wheat. Medium body with a dry finish. Juicy mouthfeel.

Draft @ schlafly Taproom, St Louis, MO. Pours a clear pale amber color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grassy slightly earthy hoppy aroma. Fruity malty hoppy bitter flavor. Has a fruity malty earthy hoppy bitter finish.
