Can. A mild to medium haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, a nice light creamy sweetness. Fuck me! Some bloody good Nelson here! Juicy winey grape, mild skunk, a little gooseberry. Cooling pine of course. Mild hop spice on the light finish. One of the best Nelson beers I have had in a decade. Top 5 for sure. This is what Nelson used to be like, well almost.

440ml can from Hop Burns and Black. Cloudy golden yellow with a white head that recedes. Dank juicy nose of papaya, pineapple, grape, onion. Medium fruity sweetness, medium bitterness. Pretty nicely balanced. Body is a bit light, surprisingly watery for the ABV. Tasty beer if imperfect.

On tap at The Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Tropical fruit & breakfast juice aromas. Taste is tropical fruit, white peach, honeydew melon. Quite a sweet fruit salad. Lightly hoppy aftertaste.
