NxNE is the perfect combination of an English stout and American coffee. Our dry oatmeal stout is blended with Compass Coffee’s Cardinal Blend resulting in deep chocolate and roast flavors. The light body and slight hop bitterness round out this brew to give the feel of a comforting cup of fresh-brewed coffee.

Dark brown. Lightly roasted malt, cocoa, light coffee. Medium body. Dry finish with light bitterness on the end. Nice and easy.

On tap at Big Board pours a dark black with some creamy, tan head. Nose has toast, black bread, a little cola, more cocoa pod than chocolate. Flavor has toast, chocolate and dark bread, malt. Finishes creamy. Solid.

4 oz pour on draft at Hellbender. Black with light beige head. Aromas of coffee, dark chocolate, roast. Tastes of coffee, dark chocolate, bitter roasty notes. Medium body with a dry finish. Pretty good.

On draft at Mason Social. Poured a deep dark brown color, almost pitch black except for the edges when held up to the light. Aroma was rich roasted malts, coffee is pretty tasty. Rich, velvet coffee and bitter dark chocolates round this one out a lot. Really tasty.

Draft at the source. Clear deep maroon color, beige head. Aroma of coffee, obviously, but cocoa and dark plums as well. Taste is roasy coffee and dark unsweetened chocolate. Coffee doesn’t overwhelm , still plenty of beery characteristics.
