It is a long time since I had proper Boddington's but this didn't taste as I remember it. Boddies was always a very bitter Bitter, this was more like John Willie Lees Bitter. Pint in The Crown, Didsbury.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6.5 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7
Cask gravity at Firkin Alehouse Folkestone. Clear old gold colour lasting white head. Light hops on aroma. Some spicy citrus hops on the finish. Not really what I remember. Perhaps better with a sparkler. I wanted to like it. Its an ordinary bitter.
