Here is our latest Barrel Aged Plain Dark Beer! This batch has been aged in barrels from Daft Mill Distillery in Fife. The character from the barrels is the perfect addition to balance out the abv of the beer. We’re super happy with this batch, so grab a can while it’s still available!

Can shared by my bro. It pours black with a sturdy brown head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, dark, decadent, heady notes of whisky, vanilla fudge, Scottish tablet, rocky road, gooey marshmallow, neopolitan ice cream, nougat, almond biscotti and some toasted fruit cake. The taste is smooth, rich, dark roasted malt, bitter - sweet, burnt toast, umami, charred oak, toasty spice, warming lowland whisky, toffee, earth, toasted fruit cake, warming booze, toasted nut, walnut, chocolate bourbons, cacao nibs and leather with a surprisingly smooth finale. Fulsome body and moderate carbonation. A very classy non adjucted BA stout. Rich, decadent, yet balanced. Not too sweet either. Very tasty.
