Rebranded as an heirloom... that easy, huh? 6% 750 from Press online, in their seasonal club. Probably should have checked what they were sending me. Clear, shiny, pale gold with a quick-hitting soda head. Smells of watered down McIntosh floral & something caramel-y. Taste is McIntosh, less then subtle acid added, lemon, salt & caramelized sugar with an nutty creme & butterscotch finish that isn't suppose to be there. Crispy, slick, semi-sweet, unnatural soda acid, sessionable abv. Despite that & the questionable awards, it drinks okay-ish.

Nice fruity notes led, obviously, but sweet apples. Has a rather tart backbone to it, but the sweetness smoothes it out in the end. Refreshing for a sweet cider. Quite nice.

Bottle. Crystal clear bright golden color, nice white head that settles to an edge plus. Aroma of tart apple skin, pear, apple flesh. Taste is lightly tart, very fruity applesauce, subtle pineapple, subtle grapefruit. Delicious. And I like that it’s a reasonable abv.
