This brew was crafted by NY Rican local native, Manny Calderon & inspired by the vibrant culture of the Puerto Rican people of NYC. “NuevaYol” is Spanish slang for New York. Crafted with Pilsner & Munich malt with noble hops. The result is a nice drinkable mouthfeel.

Undated can drunk 3/1/26.
Smells grassy, slightly floral, reasonably malty (light honey, lots of crusty white bread). Gentle "sweetness" to the malt, it seems, with no off notes that I can find.
Surprisingly malty, almost with a syrupy edge to it, quite sweet as a result, with some of that coming from underattenuation. Big bitterness up front, with light grass and floral notes lingering. Mostly clean, though a bit of unrefined character that would suggest some more lagering would be beneficial. At any rate, it needs more attenuation. They've almost covered it up with an above-average bitterness.
