Growler from Tap Room. Pour is a beautiful reddish brown with a bit of a haze to it (I think, but it’s kinda hard to tell) and a bit of a fizzy head that dies fairly quickly. Aromas are heavenly... oak, tart cherries, a bit of funky barnyard. Perfection! Flavor is also amazing. Lots of tart cherry and raspberry presence with a healthy dose of an oaky flavor, a little bit of balsamic vinegar or something. Very, very nicely done! Oddly enough, it has an almost alcoholic warmth to it, which I don’t fully understand given the low ABV, but it’s something I have noticed in a few sours I have tried. It is pleasant and fits nicely with the beer, but I can’t quite figure it out. That said, this beer is amazingly good stuff!
