4 oz pour on draft at Spacebar. Clear golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of citrus, caramel, floral notes, tropical fruit. Tastes of citrus, pine, floral notes, some booze. Medium body with a dry finish.

On draft at Spacebar in Falls Church. Pours a hazy gold with an off white head. Fruity nose. Flavors of pine, mandarin orange and mango. Juicy and bitter.

Super hazy copper and bronze coloured body with a thinnish, fast-dying off-white head. Aroma of oranges, curacao, light malt, earth and a very sweet and pungent hop kick. Medium-bodied; Assertive fresh grapefruity and orangey hop kick, some light malt notes, hints of alcohol and some very nice floral elements show well with a nice grassy and fragrant finish, full of character. Aftertaste shows a good orange and grapefruit sweetness, a big dose of alcohol and bitterness and a smooth malty backbone. Overall, a very nice citrusey and sweet Imperial IPA with a great body and smooth complexity, yet a relatively easy-to-drink beer throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 26-November-2016 for US$2,99 sampled at home in Washington on 20-December-2016.

Draught @ Stag’s Head. Cloudy rich golden with small off-white foamy head, very faint citrus peel aroma, medium carbonation, bitter happy taste, thin body, long hoppy finish. A classic IPA.

After getting drenched in rain figured I deserved beer so swung into stags head. Haven’t had new Ithaca beer in great while. Dusty orange pour foamy head. Nose is grapefruit and pine. Tastes of bitter grapefruit, pine, resin, some tangerine and honey. Bitter and boozy. Fits the day

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a cloudy bright peach color with a large foamy orange-white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet with pine, grapefruit and a bit of spicy hops. The flavor was bitter and tangy with pine, lemon and grapefruit notes. long finish. Medium body. Ok.

Got this from butters_mcgee. 12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 10/7/2015. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, honey, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great complexity and balance of bright citrus/tropical hops and moderate malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, honey, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon/orange peel, pine, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Fantastic complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical hops and moderate pale malt notes; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Good amount of dryness from bitterness after the finish as well. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately sticky/resinous mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is an awesome DIPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical hops and moderate pale malt flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink for the ABV. This appears to be all Citra/Amarillo hops to me as well. A highly enjoyable offering.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a hazy orange with a thin creamy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of citrus, tropical hops, clean pale malt. The taste is orange juice, honey, pithy grapefruit. a bit of earth and caramel. Meidum bodied, lingering bitterness.

Draft at Brookland Pint. Hazy deep amber color, tan head. Aroma of pineapple, grapefruit. Taste is smooth citrus, decent bitterness but not overwhelming. Very quaffable DIPA.

The appearance had a hazy golden somewhat of a yellowish colored body with a half a finger white foamy head that quickly dies into the body, light carbonation is seen rising at a moderate pace, not any lacing is seen
The smell has a fragrant citrus fruits with a nice backing by the malts, though a mild bitterness enters in as it warms.
The taste started off bitter but a nice dose of sweet maltiness comes in after some warming up, bitter citrusy aftertaste, dry finish.
The palate had a light to medium, fairly sessionable, carbonation is a bit smoother than most DIPA’s, but I’ll take it, no worries.
Overall, I say this is a good DIPA that I would have again. Good thing about this is that if you nurse this one long enough, it will warm up enough to assist in noticing that its pretty balanced. Take it if you see it, as I probably won’t see it again for a while.
