750ml @ Ryan's.
Aroma: a bit weird with meaty notes, bold, some sweetness. No caramel or dark fruits found.
Taste: heavy, nice caramel, loads of American oak.
Overall: nice one.

Dark brown, the aroma is quite fruity, raisins, a bit of chocolate. There's a lot of depth here, with raisins, dates, cookie dough, lots of bourbon, great balance to that barrel character. Alcohol in the finish. Everything comes together really well, nice depth.

750mL bottle, pours jet black with a tiny beige head. Aroma is fairly complex, with plenty of bourbon barrels, some coffee, dark dried fruits, toffee, and a touch of tobacco. Flavour has rich brown sugar, toffee, dark dried fruits, and heaps of bourbon barrel expression. Very nice barrel blend, with good base malts, appropriate sugars. Excellent.

Poured from 750mL bottle. Very dark brown with almost no beige head. Aroma has some meaty notes, bourbon. Taste reduces the meaty notes, decent bourbon, some dark sugars, nice sipper.

750mL bottle. Pours nearly black with a minimal head. Dried fruits, brown sugar, and dates on the nose. Flavour has dried fruits, dates, dark brown sugars, and a ton of great bourbon barrels. Very nice, great complexity that's well blended with the barrels.

Blackish, with some slight copper-ruby highlights, a warm mocha-beige head, and a ring of lacing. Roasted malt aromas with coconut notes, a touch of dark fruits and Bourbon. A slick mouthfeel, a little oily with some dryness in the finish. Big raisin flavours with the Bourbon blending well and a tad coconut, vanilla, woodiness. Goes down smoothly, and the alcohol is fairly well-hidden - hints of warming. Another good strong beer that is barrel-aged, but almost seem more Imperial Stoutish than Barleywine.
