A historic Cider Apple with origins so ancient that they have been lost to history. At the turn of the 20th century it was widely grown in Herefordshire, with a single variety version produced as part of the ‘pomagne’ range. For reasons unknown it fell out of favour and the variety was nearly lost, but we have now grafted more than 30 trees in our Orchard. This is our second vintage: a very pleasant and delicate Cider that is soft on the pallet, with a peachy, appley fruit forward flavour and an intriguing, complex finish! 750ml. 4.9%

750ml bottle from Ross on Wye. Slightly hazed golden colour, short-lived bubbly head that dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of fruit, apple, flesh, funk. Taste is tart, appley, wood, peachy stone fruits, some funk, earthy, with acidity and tannin. Medoum bodied, light carbonation, drying acidic finish. Nicely drinkable.
