Our first collaboration with West Coast Brewing, one of Japan’s leading hop forward breweries, was brewed in parallel in Manchester and Shizuoka for a shared release.
Inspired by the idea of hops as umami, this beer is built not around a single hop note, but the full spectrum. Through layered dry hopping, we’ve combined dank and piney depth with citrus, white fruit, tropical and herbal aromatics. Each hop plays a supporting role, enhancing the others to create a bold, mouth filling hop character.
The result is a beer where complexity comes from balancing a hop expression that’s rounded, expressive and deeply satisfying

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 31/05/2026.
Almost clear golden orange topped with a just off white cap that veers to the edge.
Nose is waxy orange, grapefruit, pine nip, citric tinged straw.
Taste comprises grapefruit, pine needle, grass, guava, papaya.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with juicy come lightly danko hop bitterness.
Okay DIPA but farm from CW's top drawer in this respect.

Can. Just a light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head that doesn't last. Light palate, a little dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, a smooth creamy sweetness. Soft cooling pine. Tangy stone fruits. A light candy fruit dusting. A little ripe citrus. Pretty light finish. One or those Cloudwater DIPAs that is fine but, just a bit meh overall, especially considering the brand.

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Hazy deep golden body with an off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of papaya and mango. Flavour of passionfruit and orange. Medium to full body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. I think there are Galaxy hops in this. There’s a nice umami vibe to this, which aligns with the description on the label.
