Draft at Cafe de Beyerd. Black with a ring beige head. Aroma of roast, dark chocolate, vanilla, oak, light coconut, caramel, toffee and light ripe dark fruits. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. Smooths down the base beer and adds nicely.

Geproefd met Roelzie1986, Inoven en Benzai bij het Brabants Bier festival in Oirschot. Het is een donker bruin bier zonder schuim. Het heeft een lekkere gebrande smaak met heerlijke eikensmaak erdoor.

Sampled @ Oirschots Bierfestival 2017. Opaque pitch black color, small quickly disappearing brown head. Smell and taste malts, lightly roasted malts, dark malts, malt bitter, can’t really say I detect the barrel aging in the sense that it really makes for a distinctly different beer. Still the base beer is good so a fine stout imo.
