Slightly sweetish, sourish, rather fruity, slightly funky and a little vinous aroma of sour cherry, bitter almond, oak, elderberry and blackcurrant. A little sweetish, gently sour, rather fruity, slightly funky and a little vinous taste of sour cherry, blackcurrant, elderberry, lemon, oak, bitter almond and light horse blanket, followed by a medium long, gently tart, fairly woody-dry finish. Medium body, gently astringent and quite effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Very well-balanced, elegant and sophisticated lambic, maybe the best of the brut beers from Oud Beersel.
