Dark brown. Definitely the intense richness of a long boil, meaty. Big body, again that meaty, smokey sort of taste. Oily palate, nice and thick. There's some subtle brown sugars underneath, a touch of fruitiness. Pretty good.

355mL bottle, pours jet black with almost no head. Nose has intense molasses, some roast, iron, and a touch of roast. Flavour is odd, with intense soy sauce, black liquorice, sugars, iron, and molasses. Rick, thick, oily palate, with basically no carb. Very meaty, iron-y, soy sauce-y finish. Nice attempt but this ain’t working for me.

Poured from bottle. Very dark brown with minimal beige head. A touch syrupy, cookie-like, hint of soy sauce, on the sweeter side with some iron. Weirdly okay, but a bit hard to get through.

355mL bottle. Pours black. Roast, ashy smoke, and dried on the nose; smells a lot like smoked mackerel. Flavour is smoky and fishy, dark sugars, iodine, fish sauce. Mouthfeel is quite full. The fishiness is weird and throws the whole beer off.
