Named for Huntsville’s “Mountain of Health,” Montesano Maibock is a German springtime bock, golden in color and with a small hop profile. Pronounced “MY-BOCK,” the style is traditionally a bridge between summer beers, light in color and lower in gravity, and the bigger, darker bocks of winter. Our take on the style is sweet with a light crispness in the finish from the Tettnanger hops.

Draft at the schnitzel ranch: poured hazy golden color with fluffy white head. Aroma is sweet grain. Taste was toasted malt and grain. Had a somewhat sweet bubblegum finish.
