330mL bottle, pours jet black with a small beige head. Nose is full of deep roast, plenty of hops still tickling the nose hairs after all these years, intense woody barrel, and a touch of vanillin. Flavour is wonderfully rich and complex, with deep roast, a wonderful vanilla overtone, robust woody bourbon barrels, moderate booziness, and gentle sweetness on the finish. Wonderful vanillin character that blends wonderfully with the deep bourbon and wood character. Beauty.

A black beer, a head is medium and light brown. Aroma has liquorice, roastness, barrel, light caramel. Taste has liquorice, caramel, roastiness, some barrel. Almost full bodied, not stickyness. Balanced, good beer.
