Our second release with Manchester illustrator David Bailey is here, and it’s our take on an underrated style from the early days of American craft beer, which is itself an American take on a British icon of pub drinking.
A classic Brown Ale malt base is filled out with a forest full of Chinook to bring a load of pine resin, white pepper and citrus pith to an otherwise buttery biscuit base.
This also marks the first time for a very long time that one of our Patrons Project releases is available on cask! It only felt right for a series dedicated to the hallowed institution that is the pub.

Hazy chestnut brown with a frothy light tan head and a sweetish hoppy aroma. Soft and smooth, red berries, pine, fruit & nut chocolate and soft roasted malt, finishes dry and bitter.

Cask at The Green Goddess, Blackheath Royal Standard.
Aromas of Highland toffee, caramel cake, sweet spices, creamy coffee. Taste is a flavoursome mix of the above. Smoky, malty & lightly bitter aftertaste.

My Patron Saint Project Beer#11, today celebrating Saint Zeta, the Patron Saint Of Janitors through a Patrons Project brew. On the lighter side of brown in colour, but a bit more towards style in taste, albeit a sweet effort. It's good though with flavoursome hops clearly doing their job here providing light fruity notes.
