The dead man's hand, this black lager is brewed with pilsner and roasted malt then lagered over 6 weeks to provide a smooth, crisp finish. It's black in color but medium-bodied in taste with notes of roasted coffee, chocolate, and noble hops. So good, it may just bring Wild Billback for another hand.

Shaker pint draft at Stockyards Brewing Co in Overland Park, Kansas. The pour is an opaque black with a small light tan head. The aroma is a light char with a hint of caramel malt. The taste is roast char, grain malt, minimal sweetness, coffee and finishes with more roast. The palate is light to medium bodied with active carbonation and a bone dry roast and mineral finish. Solid Black Lager.
