This blond collab is brewed with Dampegheest from Limmen. Brewery Dampegheest is located in an old cheese warehouse. Therefore we decided to add whey, a by-product from cheese manufacturing. Wave also added Einkorn (Triticum Monococcum), an ancient wheat type. Together with the American hops this beer is a perfect combination of fresh accents and citrus notes. (Water, pilsmout, palemout, ambermout, roggemout, Hop: Cascade en Athanum, Eenkoorn, Weil en gist)

Bottle from Kisjes Slijterijen, Meppel. Aroma is sturdy grainy malts, rye, citrus, soft floral hops, touch of caramel, light pine resin. Moderate sweet flavour with a likewise moderate bitter finish. Body is medium. Tasty with a robust grainy malt profile and some welcome hoppy notes.

Very grainy and grassy, some juicy citrus fruitiness, some light plasticcy weird funk, which could very well be the whey. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body, soft carbonation. Keep them rare grains boiling!

Dune picknick. Straight from the bottle but the color seems a bit hazy dark golden. Very grainy and grassy, some juicy citrus fruitiness, some light plasticcy weird funk, which could very well be the whey. Moderate sweet and bitter. Medium body, soft carbonation. Another interesting and unique specialty grain beer (with a twist) from Jopen. I have to cheat my own rating system a bit to give this the credit I feel it deserves. Keep them rare grains boiling!

Bottle @ home. Lightly hazy orange color, average sized white to off-white head. Canβt really describe the aroma other than malty and a bit musty. Taste malts, a bit sweetish mixed with a whim of citrus, slightly a touch of hop in the background and lightly bitter. Average to decent body and carbonation. Mwah, ok I guess.

Bottle at Noord-Hollands bier festival. Slight hazy golden with fizzy off white head. Some sweet caramel malts, light citrus hops, some grass, bitter herbs. Itβs basically a nice blond ale with some good hops, nothing crazy but good quality. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with a bit fizzy carbonation.
