Dark mahogany pour. Not too much head. Yeast, caramel malts and bananas. Pretty good.

Dark mahogany pour with a medium white head. Sweet bready aroma, lots of earthy wheat, and some subtle cherry. Soft carb, full mouth feel. Sweet malty finish, slightly boozy and a tad dry.

A dark reddish brown weizen with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with dark fruits, light chalky notes, light oxidation, so-so. In mouth, sweet fruity malt loads of dark fruits, bananas, licorice, alcohol warmth, light honey from oxidation, OK. Bottle from 2011.

Tap at R+B. Unfiltered orange-brown body. Massive head. Doughy chocolate tones. Cherry brown, almost rye tones. Chewy malts, deep fruity tones. A little heavy handed, sugary.

Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a nut brown color with red-orange highlights and a large foamy tan head that left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet with bread, pretzel and dark fruits. The flavor was sour malts with tangy and tartish dark fruits, molasses and bread crust. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Decent.

Sample at the Four String Golden Can Party & Tap Takeover at Pint Room on 10/30/2015. Hazy brownish-amber color with a medium light beige head that dissipates steadily to a film. Small patches of lacing. Aroma of malt, banana and spice. Medium body with flavors of roasted malt. banana and yeast. The finish is sweet with a caramel malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottle: Poured a clear brown color bock with a nice light brown foamy head with OK retention and some light lacing notes. Aroma of light banana bread and caramelized malt is interesting. Taste is a nice mix of banana bread, caramelized malt with some residual sugar notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. Not bad but the yeast ester are not exactly up to par with their German counterparts.

Bottle from HomeBrewStuff. Taste is the best asset of this brew, which, all things considered, is probably the most memorable. Kind of a dull pour for a weizen, small head, cola colored body. Aroma is full on roast malts, very sweet. Taste brings it all together, not as sweet as it smells, fair amount of burnt toast bitterness. Body seems light, sweet cloying finish. Also ABV kind of low for the style...but it tastes great.

22oz bottle pours out a amber with red highlights topped with a white head. Nose is rich pit fruit belg yeast spice and a heavy malt. Taste is more of the heavy malts some sweetness and a nice belg twist.
