On tap at Red Yeti. Pours a dark amber with small off white head that beige head. The aroma is english yeast and toasted malt. Medium body, similar flavors to nose, nice sweetness, very good.

On tap at Apex, pours a deep dark red with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bready malt, some caramel and a touch of resin. Flavour is dry and malty, with bready English malt, dry caramel and just enough resinous hops. Bold, dry and full-bodied - nice that it's not got much sweetness. Not overly complex - wouldn't have guessed this was a barley wine. Good.

Draft - Toffee and some date. Deep brown with a decent white head. Cocoa and light prune. Decent.

Draft: Pours clear brown with a small tan head. Cola, toffee aroma. Taste is really mild.....sweet toffee, raisin, almost nutty..... Very smooth and light for the ABV. Minimal alcohol presence..... Really good stuff.

Draft. Light cherry caramel malt and light alcohol aroma. Amber with small head. Sweet toffee malt, light hay, and alcohol flavor. Pleasant - pretty light for a barley wine.

Draft at Smoke & Barrel. Clear deep amber color, tan head. Aroma of raisins, port wine. Taste has plums, raisins, caramel. Nice.

6oz pour at Smoke and Barrel. Pours a clear, deep amber with a ring of off white head. Nose is very sweet, caramel, raisin, booze, fruit cake. Like a boozed up British barleywine. Flavor is smooth but sweet, caramel, raisin, some cake icing, booze, a little suntan lotion. Full, sticky finish.

Draft sample @ brewery. Earthy caramel malt and dark fruit aroma. Clear deep amber with a small beige head. Bready caramel malt, dark fruity, herbal hops, and alcohol flavor. Medium body, soft carbonation.
