Schramm’s Peach is an entirely Michigan made mead is very honey-forward, showcasing Tom Reed’s delicious Northern Michigan Wildflower honey. It lets the fruit sing the harmony instead of the melody with lighter Michigan Peach character. It features distinct caramel notes and a brandied honey and vanilla aromatic with medium to full body. It pairs well with fish dishes, including tilapia and orange roughy.

Bouteille 375ml, merci à Kyle. Couleur paille/doré, huileux au verre. Bouquet reste enivrant avec pas mal de notes de miel - fleurs sauvages. Le tout est plutôt dominant avec un rétro de pêche plaisant axé sur l’effet purée/concentré sur fruit. Une fine effluve caramel titille les narines En bouche, le palais est chaleureux et réchauffant avec une petite touche des 14% et un effet de pêche qui apporte ce plus du fruit et la sensation en bouche de ’pils’ de la peau de la pêche. Le touche est accompagné par l’onctuosité et douceur du miel et des notes de fleurs.Petit fini liquoreux avec un effet caramélisé du miel qui se prête bien à la pêche.Une autre belle réussite.

Bottle. Light hazy deep golden liquid with minimal white head. Aroma of peach, cardboard, booze, honey and flowers. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with notes of cardboard, licorice and honey. Full bodied with low carbonation. Very oxidized, too bad. Good base though.

Bottle receiver in trade. Thank you umich03jm! Pours deep golden leaving some subtle legs on the glass. Smell is fruity with honey, canned peaches, peach cobbler, marzipan, soil, lemon peal and alcohol. Taste is sweet, tiny sour and fruity with honey, peaches, marzipan peach cobbler, crushed almonds, hay, soil, lemon peal and alcohol. Mouthfeel is round, fruity tart, boozy and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and sour with honey, peaches, marzipan peach cobbler, dry soil, lemon peal and alcohol. Very intense peach character. I like the almond peach cobbler aspect but it’s not as refined and balanced as other Schramm offerings.

Willrunforbeer’s grand mead tasting. A few chunks of something floating in this clear gold liquid. Aroma is very odd, wine cork and almonds, peach? Peach?
The peach does come though pretty well in the flavor. The alcohol is pretty well hidden but I still get it. Ok

375ML @ the mead tasting. Just a little bit of cloudiness to this soft golden colored mead. Nose is very light, sugary sweet brown sugar, hibiscus and honeysuckle with only a slight faded peach nose. The taste is quite boozy with a lot of oomph at the start and the finish. Tastes like a mostly honey mead with only faint peach throughout which does help to balance out the sweetness with a nice acidity. Only slightly cloying.

375 mL bottle shared by jackl at the 21st Richmond Gathering, 11/1/14. Pours a clear pale golden color, moderate legs. Aroma of peach, vanilla, earth, honey, peach pits. The taste is vanilla, honey, peach. Medium bodied, mild booze but not hot. Yet another great one from Schramm.

Honey, peach, oat nose. Clear ambe. Even mix of honey and peach, a good combination. Not hot at all, medium body, silky. Great.

Bottle - Waxy and almost lightly spiced honey and a odd fruit note. Clear gold. Green apple, sweet honey and some overripe peach. A bit sweet and unbalanced for me.
