Yuengling® is proud to offer our Oktoberfest as an homage to our German Heritage. A true representation of the style, Oktoberfest is a blend of Tettnang and Hallertau hops. Copper in color, this medium-bodied beer is the perfect blend of roasted malts with just the right amount of hops that serves up a slightly-sweet, toasted character and mild herbal bitterness.

12oz bottle from Wegmans, King of Prussia, PA. A brilliant golden amber colour with a fast fading cream head; simple malty aroma - almost like a brown ale; straightforward malty flavour, slightly metallic towards the end; and a malty finish.

This reminds me of the time, many years ago, when I was training to be an Analytical Chemist and one of the exercises we were set was to identify and measure the metals contained in a sample of Newcastle Brown Ale from a metal can - we didn’t know at the time that the supervisor had spiked the sample, so were rather alarmed to discover that it contained lethal quantities of tin! Anyway this is probably how it would have tasted.

12 ounce bottle. Bright amber orange color with a small off-white head. Light bready, sulphur-like nose. Tangy toasted malt flavor, thin bodied and metallic. Bitter hops dominate the mid-taste. Brief dry finish. Not a very good effort.

Umm... Some sort of thanks to Pete... I guess (?) for sharing this during the fantasy football draft. The aroma and the flavor are slightly ok, but mostly not... Especially the flavor. Aromas of malty and light lager... Hard to describe to someone who hasn’t been there. Flavor is pretty Yuengling-y with a little bit neon shrapnel and a little more malt. I would way rather drink a normal Yuengling.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a very thin fizzy head that quickly fades. Grainy malt aroma with a caramel finish and a faint bit of toastiness. The taste is caramel, cherry-like fruits, floral hops. Thin bodied.

Draft at a local Glory Days. They said it was the Yuengling Oktoberfest, so there we go. Poured a copper color with a small white foamy head. Aroma was sweet malts, very much like say - the Samuel Adams Octoberfest. Drinkable, I suppose good enough to get once they make it to bottles next year.
