Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a very dark brown color with a very small khaki head. The aroma is sour roasty malts. The flavor is sour roasty malts and bitter floral hops. The beer is a bit thin and watery.

This nut brown pours just that, a dark brown with a head that is light brown and creamy. First sniff I found alot of spice. Cloves and a little chocolate? First sip had traces of coffee and alot of roasted malts. The finish was smooth and the spices really come through. The palate was very good. The nut and spice flavour lingered with a slight bitterness. I can’t understand the rating of only 37?! This is much better than that.
