This beer has generous amounts of flaked oats, chocolate malt and roasted barley giving it a complex body, creamy mouthfeel, and pours with a thick tan head. Fresh brewed hazelnut coffee is added prior to kegging. Not too heavy, not too light, this beer is perfect.

Crowler from Henry.
This was poured into a mug.
The appearance was a fairly dark brown color with a thin wisp of a little white foamy head. Lace was fairly messy.
The aroma had some sweet hazelnut, light toast, some milk chocolate, coffee creamer (somewhat like Irish coffee), some roasted nuts and a little bit of dark bread at the very end.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side with a sly roasty to toasty sort of taste rolling in underneath. Aftertaste was definitely fully sweet encompassing all of the prior mentioned aromas. Finish was slightly sticky sweet.
The feel was just a touch under from medium bodied with a slick sort of feel along my tongue. Carbonation felt fine and the ABV felt fine.
Overall, sweet stout - yes. But I have had more balanced sweet stouts, this is not one of them.

Draught at the brewery, 6/4/16.
Deep cocoa powder with lighter mahogany and a seeming moderate clarity to it. Light tan head shows moderate to moderately strong retention.
Bakers chocolate is immediately joined by light fudge, vanilla and a, thankfully, very nicely reserved hazelnut note. Some light raisin and prune adds a bright fruitiness that helps elevate things. No alcohol or flaw with light roastiness lingering.
Lightly sweet, with light fudge and sticky toffee. Soft roast adds moderate bitterness as sweet base malts combine with the hazelnut to balance well. Creamy to silky texture, sweetening somewhat on the end but the flavors are well developed and balanced. Moderate, mostly tight carbonation.

Sampled at 3rd annual RI Brewfest, great retention and awesome lace. The aroma is distinctly hazelnut coffee creamer with light roasty character. The flavor is strongly nutty with a good roasty earthiness. The mouth feel is pretty decent with a light chewy texture. The aftertaste is nutty coffee and lingers for just a second.
