12 oz. bottle, sent from Glouglouburp (thanks a lot, Dany), pours a cloudy, solidly opaque orange with a medium white head. Nose is lovely, bringing out truckloads of rich resinous hops, a bit of tropical fruit, and a big solid caramel malt backbone. Flavour is divine, bringing out an extremely juicy flavour profile, with notes of resinous hops, grapefruit, citrus peel, and caramel malt to back. Superbly balanced, with just enough malt to give this a chewy mouthfeel that wonderfully compliments the big juicy, resinous hop profile. A supreme IIPA here.

12oz bottle as I sit outside on a brisk fall evening in DC. Can’t tell you how it looks, all I have is the bottle. Nice nose, pine, chive, tangerine, soap, orange, grapefruit. Flavor has plenty of citrus, orange, lemon, grapefruit, pine, soap, chive, honey, a little lemon cake icing. Full, bitter finish.

Bottle scored at Tribecca Whole Foods for me by my wife. Nice citrus nose, grapefruit, orange, lemon skin. Lightly tropical as well. Dark, murky orange color, like nothng I have seen before, with lace. Malty base for sure, some caramel and chocolate even, with humongous hops. Big citrus, big bitterness, big malt and alcohol. Very nice, but, somehow it doesn’t really take me anywhere new. Too bitter, really. Quite boozy as well.

Bottle thanks to Ryan. Sweetish hops. Gun metal flavour. Decent. I mean it’s a decent ipa. Good hops

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Pours a hazy orange color with a large frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of tropical and citrus hops notes, pale malts and the faintest toasty bit. The taste is bitter tropical, citrus, resin hops, toasted caramel malts. Medium bodied, average carbonation, moderate lingering bitterness, good balance. Nice beer.

Bottle form the Drinkery Pours a slightly hazy light golden color with a huge frothy whit head that persists forever. Smells of pine and resin with hints of garlic and green onion and a faint bready crackery malt. Flavor is light alcohol with lots of resinous pine and dankness. Light bready malt is present but deep in the background hop bitterness is firm but never harsh. Medium to light body with a moderate level of carbonation and a slick resinous mouthfeel. Nice brew I’m glad that I was able to luck into a bottle.

Keg at Prohibition Pig - Waterbury, VT. Pours lightly hazy gold with a creamy, off-white head. Big, juicy tropical fruit nose, plenty of tangerine, grapefruit, pine needles. Medium sweet flavor, mildly dank with lots more citrus, mango, mellow pine. Medium to full bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Good and resinous to finish with moderate alcohol warmth, tangerine, melon, grapefruit and mango. Nice and juicy. Very tasty DIPA.
