12oz bottle at my daughters on 11th May 2016. Amber with an orange hue, the head an off-white affair. Nose has some fruity notes with a mild citrus leaning. Taste is semi-sweet and fruity, again with a citrus feel to the proceedings. OK.

Pours deep amber into a shaker. Bright white head with little retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Sweet honey, butterscotch and caramel aromas. Thick with butterscotch, bready buns, and roasted caramel upfront turning to mild bitter earth in the medium length finish.

Bottle. Orange-lemon, caramel malt, and grapefruit peel aroma. Hazy golden yellow with giant off-white head. Moderately sweet milky orange caramel malt and moderately strong bitter grapefruit peel/pine/alcohol flavor. Good body.

Bottle: Pours slightly hazy, amber-gold with a short, tight, off-white head. Honey, orange aroma. Flavour is resiny, orange-peel, caramel malt. Heavy peel in this one....strong bittering, a little alcohol warmth. Leans more towards behaving like a double IPA than a pils...... Pretty decent.

Super hazy golden and copper coloured body with a bronze glow and hints of honey tints, all with a two centimetre tall rich tan head - this one looks great! Aroma of alcohol, honey, hop pellets, resin, apricots and quite a bit of yeast - pungent. Full-bodied; Rich sweet honey flavours at first shy away and show a lot of hop character with some pellets and low a.a. herbal notes, along with a rich malt backbone and a good amount of unfinished caster sugar and a touch of grass. Aftertaste shows a lot of hop bitterness along with some pungent alcohol and grassy notes - nice and strong throughout. Overall, the complexity isn’t really there, but the solidly consistent strong flavours show well and the sweetness plus hops makes for a nice beer! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Costco in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 17-October-2014 for US$30,99 for a full case (24 pack) sampled at home in Washington on 01-February-2015 in honour of the Patriots winning Superb Owl XLIX.

12oz bottle. Filtered, super filtered translucent tan-orange. Foamy off-white head. A pretty respectable beer, has some deep malty lager notes and a heavy handed noble hop barrage. Cool menthol mint tinged crispness, peppery classic noble hop residue in the aftertaste. Pretty solid.
