Boldly-hopped American Pale Ale brewed with Nelson Sauvin hops & dry-hopped with Nelson Sauvin & El Dorado hops. Exceedingly dry with a long, bitter finish, and packed with aromas of New Zealand Sauvignon blanc, fresh-cut grass, passionfruit & pine.

Tap at Bluejacket. Unfiltered yellow-tan. Foamy steady white head. Zesty bold hop flavor and aroma. Dry and strawy with a touch of tropical niceness. A touch earthy, reminds me a lot of a fresh hop ale. Delicious.

Draft at the source. Cloudy golden yellow color, large bright white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of bright citrus, summer fruit, grass on a background of light pine. Taste has mixed fruit, haystacks, touch of pine. Very tasty.

On tap at the brewpub it is a cloudy unfiltered apple cider color with a bit of a head. The aroma is citrus and the taste is sour like fermented grapefruit which it probably is

750ML corked and caged growler thanks to nimbleprop! Pours cloudy orange-amber with a large off-white creamy head that dissipates slowly leaving nice lacing. Aroma is mango, passionfruit, grapefruit, yeast. Flavor is light sweet and light plus bitter, tropical fruity and a bit harsh at the end. Medium body, full mouthfeel, but a bit watery at the same time, if that is possible. Nice.

16oz pour at the brewery. Glass comes out looking like pineapple juice. It’s beyond translucent, it’s an opaque pineapple gold with some foamy white head. Nose is very inviting, bright citrus, grass, straw, some tropical fruit, a little white grape, floral, piney, chivey. A lot happening. Flavor follows right along, piney but not heavy, citrus but not aggressively bitter, grassy, mild straw, white grape, orange, lime. No soap, which is nice. Looks like it will be thick on the palate, but it isn’t. It’s refreshing. Really good beer for Bluejacket. They seem to be on the right track with this one.

4 oz draft pour at Bluejacket. Pours a hazy apricot yellow with off-white head. Aromas of floral, citrus, light tropical notes. Tastes of big floral notes, citrus, grassy notes, pine. Medium body with a dry finish. Medium carbonation. Solid, just a bit too floral for me.

Huge fruity head on this beer but doesn’t necessarily follow through in taste. Pours cloudy orange with good head and lacing. Finishes very bitter. Nelson Sauvin makes for the great hops smell - I always love this variety. Tap at brewpub.

Taster sized pour at the source. This one poured a hazy yellow, perhaps slightly straw color, with a small white head. Aroma was pine sap, sap, grass, armpit, light onion. Perhaps not nearly as pleasant as I had hoped. Flavor was pleasant, lightly earthy, with a touch of sap, and grass notes. Light and pretty easy to drink.
