Super dark brown coloured body with a black glow and a very thin, single centimetre tall tan head that fades fast and turns oily. Aroma of super roasted malt, coffee, light vanilla, chocolate and tons of bittering, perhaps almost burnt malt. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong rich malt flavour with a huge deal of grain, bitter malt, chocolate, coffee and prunes - very nice throughout. Aftertaste is smooth, and despite a good deal of alcohol, shows very well with some vanilla, tobacco and grain all coming through. Overall, a rather nice Imperial Stout that I had in the midst of summer - but was very nice to try. I sampled this pint on draught at Zandra’s in Old Town Manassas, Virginia on 09-July-2016.

Alamo Drafhouse, somewhere in the backwater of Loudon County, tap on nitro: pours black with a creamy beige head. Aroma is chocolate and coffee. Taste is same. Not too sweet. Alcohol well covered. Had it not come in a small glass I might have thought this was a normal milk stout.
