Bought as a single tall boy while on a national park trip to Montana and brought home to try. The can pours an interesting amber-orange liquid with a bountiful head and active carbonation. Less interesting is the smell, it gives a grassy, metallic scent. A drink delivers a sedate hoppiness, grain, biscuit and a small, sweetish finish. I am the better for having sampled.

16 oz can from a four pack bought in Thompson Falls, MT. Canned a month and a half ago. Pours filtered copper with a large off-white head with great retention and lace. Aroma is pretty lackluster with vague caramel malt, chalk. Taste is kind of dull as well--medium bitterness, kind of sweet. Like the pale ale, no real hop character other than the bitterness. Not bad, but it’s boring.

Can from Old Faithful Yellowstone General Store. Pours amber with a foamy near beige head. Aroma is citrus earthy. Body is medium or better. Flavor is hoppy citrus/earthy over a decently subdued caramel backbone. Finishing hoppy and decently bitter. Working well for me.

16oz can pours deep copper with thin off white head. The aroma offers up modest levels of spicy and floral hops and faint malt sweetness in the background. The taste follows suit with malts and crystal malts creating a sweet base for spicy to floral hops to slightly earthy hops. To about midway and into the finish the hop bitterness ratchets up a few pleasing notches. Decent enough IPA.

Canned (thanks omhper!). Deep amber colour, mediumsized fluffy slightly off-white head. Aroma is fruity and floral hops along with some sweet malts and spices. Flavour is sweet malts, alcohol, fruity and floral hops as well as some toffee. A bit too sweet for my taste.
