Canned. A nice shiny golden pour, clea,r, with white head. Serious floral hops burst aroma, blending to a tamer dry finish. Good sesion ale.

Can from random liquor joint in Brooklyn. Consumed out of can, straw optional (but provided). Appearance unknown, but the can is green. The nose is bitter -sweet, grassy, green fresh hop, juicy, dankness, floral notes and sweet citrus. The taste is crisp, bitter, grassy, green hoppage, floral, pepper, earth, pithy grapefruit and lemon with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Tasty and crushable.

Can thanks to Toby. Pours out golden topped with a small head. Nose is citrus pine hops and some cereal malts. Taste is more of the citrus hops and a nice malty balance.

Tap at Kil in Brooklyn. Golden pour. Bright hoppy aroma. Taste is a bit lighter than aroma - didn't realize it was a Session IPA when I ordered it so that makes sense. Not bad at all given that.

12 ounce can into pint glass, best before 12/17/2014. Pours slightly hazy deep golden color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, lime, orange peel, floral, grass, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of bright citrus/floral hops and light-moderate malt sweetness; with good strength. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, lime, orange peel, floral, grass, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Fair amount of pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon/lime zest, orange peel, pine, light caramel, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice complexity and balance of bright citrus/floral hops and light-moderate malt sweetness; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and fairly sticky mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is well hidden with no warming present after the finish as expected of 4.7%. Overall this is an excellent pale ale. All around great balance and complexity of bright citrus/floral hops and light-moderate malt sweetness; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

12 ounce can from Beer Run, opened 10/11/14. Pours a clear copper with a large foamy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of spicy, herbal hops, caramel, pale malt. The taste is pale malt, tinny, herbal, grassy hops, mild toast in the finish. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness. 50th Session IPA rating!

Crisp copper coloured body with a golden tint and a thinnish off-white head. Aroma of alcohol, light hops and a touch of metal. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong assertive grassy and herbal hops with a touch of malt noticeable and very little else aside from a spicey kick. Aftertaste shows some mild malt, a little citrus and grapefruit hoppiness and a lot of grassy and herbal notes. Overall, a nice and fresh beer with some good flavours, but nothing super exciting or worth searching out for. I sampled this tall twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Washington, DC (Foggy Botom - I Street) on 04-November-2014 for US$2,49 sampled in my hotel room here in New York, New York on 08-November-2014.

Can from the Lazy Dog Pours a deep golden color with a decent sized bubbly white head that shows moderate retention. Spicy pine and bready caraeml on the nose. Earthy woody pine and caramel on the palette. Light easy to drink hoppy brew. I could drink these.
