DDH Westcoast Pilsner
FANTASTIC VOYAGES is a refreshing, crushable DDH Westcoast Pilsner that's definitely for the long haul.
It's got a solid base of Citra hops, with a sureshot bitterness that sets the mood just right, and then it's blasted on the cold side with US Krush and Talus, but also Australian Vic Secret hops. A beautiful blend of mango and honeydew melon dominates, with Hubba Bubba vibes and a touch of ripe cherry plum, then overripe exotic citrus brings a bit of bittersweet zest right before a crisp, sharp finish.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Clear deep golden, mid sized head. Grapefruity nose. Mid sweet with above medium body and rounded mouthfeel Crackery malt, hints of syrup. Plenty of piney grapefruit. Resinous bitter finish.

Thanks fonefan! Golden colour with a mediumsized white head, which leaces some lace. Aroma is biscuity, grainy and some floral and some fruity tones to it. Flavour is biscuity, wooden and some floral tones with a bt earthy elements. A bit berryish elements in the aftertaste.

A MUCH better beer than the previous one I had from Maktoob, especially since both cans were "DDH West Coast Pilsner". Nose was citrusy, hoppy, taste was similar to a NEIPA, but still true to a pilsner, so very interesting combination.

Tap at Beergeek Bar. Clear golden body, lasting thick off-white head. Sharp tropical and resinous, somewhat herbal aroma. Resinous, minerally, minty taste, bit dank, medium bitterness. The mineral aspect ends up making it astringent and brings it down.
