The Sabaja IPA is the first of its kind in Kosovo. This ale focuses on the floral and citrus characters of a balanced combination of American and Slovenian hops. The IPA's bitter backbone is balanced by a light sweetness. The IPA is light gold in color, with hits of copper at its core. It features subdued fruit esters in the aroma, and a clean finish on the palate.

Bottle at Te Kinezi in Prizren. Deep amber with a frothy head. Stone fruits and caramel. Taste is bitter with a dose of resin. Dry bitter finish of moderate length. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, faint watery texture. Decent enough.

Tap at Soam Book Station, Pristina. A pretty nondescript IPA. Nothing to scream. Malty

On tap at MIQT Pub, pours a hazy pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma is very subdued, with restrained floral hops and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is very clean and refreshing, with light floral hops, biscuity malt and a hint of citrus. I guess IPAs still haven't really become a proper thing here yet, so this is very laid back. It's clean and drinkable though, and a nice chance from the mass swill lagers.

Mild smell of hops, mango. Hazy amber colour, creamy white head. Aroma of hops, grass, some spruce and grapefruit in finish. Bitter. Plentiful, soft carbon. Slightly foamy palate. Very good basic IPA.

bottle thanks alberto bb15/10/17 ambrata piuttosto velata buona schiuma abbastanza persistente piuttosto terrosa un po di medicinale luppolatura piuttosto intensa ma non molto fragrante aromatica
