This collaboration with Jack's Abby of Framingham, Massachusetts is the next
offering in our Collab Series, an Austrian-inspired export lager. Brewed with
Pilsner and Vienna malts, Slovenian Styrian Golding hops, and fermented cool
with our house lager yeast, this single-decocted deep golden springtime lager
has notes of bread dough, honey, spice, and toast, with a round mouthfeel and
smooth, rich finish.

On tap at river road tavern
Mostly clear light gold color with a descent sized bubbly white head that persists. Crackery bready maltiness with a pleasant spicy peppery floral hoppiness.

Can best before 7/25/26, drunk 4/13/26.
Smells very malty, as a helles should. Herbal hops are aromatic but not acidic (no big pepper, or dried herb, just light and airy). Light bread and a bit of appley yeast. Seems to dry out on the finish. Crisp, clean.
More flavorful than aromatic, as vT usually is. Excellent hop character up front gives just enough acidity before retreating to the honey and cookie-like maltiness. Rich and sweet but drying out to leave a crisp finish. Very balanced, flavorful, refreshing. Love the maltiness here.

Draught at Khyber: pours gold with a white head. Aroma is bready and herbs. Taste is lightly bitter, bready. Really hits the nail on the head with style.

Solid helles. Very crisp. Pours golden with decent head. Snappy finish. A hint of mercury. Tap at Beer Run.

Pint can. Pours an 18k gold color with a medium sized white head that soon fades to a fine scum. The aroma is very mild with floral and malts. The taste is malts forward with a full-on bready character. In addition to the bready character I get some mild spicy noble hops, a touch of caramel and some grass. The palate is malts forward and the carbonation is soft. Finishes with a big bready aftertaste. Overall: This is really outstanding--the best lager I have had in quite a while. I really must go back (to the store) and get some more cans. Paired with some red dragon cheese, but this did not really go well.

Can to becher glass.
Appearance: great looking copper color with a quarter finger of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: floral to sweet grassy hops with a touch of hop spice; honey-ed biscuity/bready malts
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a superb sweet to light spicy quality; finishes with the honey-ed malts and hop spice
Texture: medium bodied, sessionable and pretty smooth along the tongue with a touch of stickiness
Overall: a nicely done Austrian lager worthy of returning to.

Looking forward to this collab series. Lovely golden colored and frothy head. Nose is bready and light florals. Tastes much the same. Nice full mouthfeel. Very refreshing.
