The second chapter of our new barrel favourite here in Rackhouse, Finnish Rye Whisky. These barrels have been home to this grand imperial stout for 20 months, imparting a depth of flavour and aroma of rich cacao, mild tobacco and a firm but balanced spirit character. A limited-edition Imperial Stout straight Off The Rack.

On tap at Goblet Zagreb. Pitch black coloured, small brownish head, chocolate and light whisky in the nose. Roasted malt, chocolate, carob, light dried fruits and some alcohol with rather sweet finish.

Tap at Goblet, to ipoštovast Sandija. Pitch black body, off-white head. Some chocolate, cheese, heavy carob, sweetish, well hidden alcohol. Smooth, lean, light, taste, finishing dry, mostly heavy carob, roasted hazelnuts, low raisin, smooth, clean very well balanced, dare I day elegant! As expected really!

Bottle. Dark chocolate, roasted mlats, licorice, some booze and barrel sourness. Assume it's from the barrels. Not too sweet either, there's some bitterness to balance it. A touch of booze sting and warmth. Mellow, smooth and tasteful anyway. Delicious. 848416 260515

Bottle. Color: Black, thin brown head. Aroma: Spicy rye, Whisky, roasted malt. Taste: Viscuous, oily mouthfeel. Spicy rye, sweetish, vanilla, Bourbon. Oak wood. Some coffee. Hints of tobacco. Boozy notes. Full body, below average carbonation. Medium sweet, moderate to over moderate bitterness. Great complexity and balance.
