Bottled. Poured a medium brown with white head. Malty and nutty _more brown than amber. Not bad.

This is their Oklahoma Suks beer. It's a pale lager, not a red ale. 12 oz. can purchased at Total Wine - The Rim, San Antonio, TX. Pours a crystal clear very light yellow color with a white head and good retention. Almost no lacing. Grainy aroma. Sweet corn grain and malt flavor. No bitterness. Crisp mouthfeel. Clean and smooth finish. Light, watery body. Much better than I feared based on the pour. Generic, but actually pretty enjoyable.

(Tap) clear, bright amber colour with a small beige head; aroma of cake; creamy palate; balanced flavour with a long, medium bitter finish

On tap at Independence, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out bready malt and a touch of resins. Flavour is nicely balanced, with toasted bready malt and a touch of resins. Mild but robust enough for the purpose. Solid.

Bottle at the Continental Club in Austin while listening to James McMurtry. Pours clear, brownish red with a white froth on top. The nose holds leaves, toasty grains. Light to medium sweet flavour with more grainy malts, some dried berries, leafy hops, earth. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. More of the same in the finish - leafy bitterness, toasted grains. So so overall.

Location: 12 oz bottle at Moonshine Restaurant in Austin, 2/20/12
Aroma: It has an aroma of sweet malts, caramel, and some toast
Appearance: This one pours a clear amber color with minimal head
Flavor: The taste is medium sweet, on the malty side, with a fairly light bitterness
Palate: This one is fairly light and drinkable on the mouth, it borders on watery
Overall Impression: This is a drinkable beer, but nothing too exciting. It was fine, but I wouldn't rush out to try it again.

On tap at flying saucer. Pours a clear amber with a small frothy off white head that diminishes rather quickly. The aroma is light malt and caramel. Medium mouthfeel with a light malt with a sweet finish. A decent amber from Independence.

Sample at the Texas Beer & Brats tasting 10/11/2009. This brew is a slightly murky amber color with a thick and foamy off-white head that recedes slowly. Stringy lacing. Faint caramel malt aroma. Roasted malt flavor offset by a bit of off fruit and hops. The finish is short and malty. So-so at best.
