Cask at Number Twenty2, Darlington. Gluten Free. Reddish amber brown colour, biege foam head leaving lacing and aroma of roast malt, chocolate, caramel. Taste is sweetish, malty, roasty, caramel & chocolate, with earthy nutty mild bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying malty nutty mild finish. Nicely drinkable.

Cask at the brewery. Clear dark copper colour. Tight white foam. Not as dark as expected. Not that it matters. Nice vinous and nutty (bit of walnut) notes. Sinks predictably easy. Decent depth of flavour. Nice mild.
