A super hoppy deep red coloured IPA that revisits the joys of the old school American style IPA. Sweet malt notes layer between punchy grapefruit and chewy marmalade flavours provided by Amarillo & Cascade hops. With a touch of pine coming from Simcoe at the back end.

Handpull cask at the Blue Boar, Leicester. Dark, brownish red with a glint of translucency and an uneven reddish/khaki head. Astringent aroma with toffee and berry notes. Bittersweet taste, more astringency here, with light berry flavours, a touch of roast chocolate, some cress. Fairly thick body for the ABV with almost no carbonation. I did like this but was hoping for a bit more character.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Near clear deep amber beer, small and short lived bubbly pale tan head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Thin bodied malts, thin and dry. Touches of caramel and toffee. Fair few esters. Mild pine and mild ripe berry fruits. Light dry finish. Tasty enough but too dry and too estery in my book.
