Bottled 500ml (AbM)
Hazy yellow color, small white head. White peppery spicey fruity aroma with gooseberry bush hoppyness. Medium-bodied. White pepper, spices, riped fruits, banana, gooseberry. Simple finish. Even with rye this is quite classic modern Saison. Not the most interesting but drinkable.

Mosaic, Ella, Citra, Amarillo, Waimea, Southern Cross. Wakatu and Target hops. Haxy gold - amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and has reasonable fine carbonation. Mild rye tang and spice blends well with tangy orange and mango. Trace of herb before a light and mildly crisp finish. Nicely done, pretty drinkable.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Hazy bronze body with a thin white head. No visible carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of sherbet, apple and wood. Flavour of red apple, tonic water, bread and lemon. Thin body with a watery texture. Very soft fizz. Nice, but it could do with a bit more carbonation. An unusual beer.

Keg at the Famous Royal Navy Volunteer - Bristol. Pours mostly clear gold with a creamy white head. The nose has some clean saison yeast, dry wheat, zesty citrus. Medium sweet flavorbwith dry wheat bread, more yeast, lemon and tangerine zest, light straw. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Pretty clean on the finish, more yeast, citrus zest, light bitter rind, some wheat bread. The yeast might be a little spicy for some tastes, but overall this is a solid saison.
