Not your average IPA! Morph Black is our Black IPA, pouring dark with a juicy hop kick. Chocolatey smoothness meets sharp citrus bite in a shape-shifting brew with serious attitude.

Cask at Hull Minster Beer Fest. Dark and glossy. Thick foamy light beige head. Aroma has liqourice and coffee with a herbal edge and underlying hints of fruity sweetness. Flavourwise it's tangy - bitterness combining with a fruity sweetness amd sourness. Underlying chewy malts.

Cask at ORB, Darlington. Gluten Free. Black brown colour, beige foam head and aroma of tropical fruits, citrus, hops, chocolate. Taste is roast malt, chocolate, with orangey citrus, zesty, tropical fruit, pine, and hop bitterness. Medium bodied, light carbonation, drying citric hoppy bitter finish. Nicely drinkable.

Today's ales have been brought to you by the January Rail Sale, I got a cheap ticket to York and back for some ales that at pint level the beer is more expensive!!! This penultimate beer of the day is amber-brown but very much the latter. A black IPA certainly, with a very dark malt character brew exemplified by tropical fruit in both aroma and taste.
